Bio
Toby Wood is an English-born British PGA Professional. Originally from Yorkshire,
He began playing golf relatively late at the age of 21 after studying engineering at university and quickly turned into one of the best amateur golfers at the club level in the region.
Toby turned professional at 26 and began his trade at one of the best golf clubs in the region Moor Allerton Golf Club. In 2016 he built the junior section at Keighley Golf Club and many of his junior students were winning interclub competitions.
In 2019 he established his own coaching business north of Bristol in the Cotswolds region of England teaching a range of new and experienced golfers from ages 6 to 90.
Toby`s students would go on to win over 75% of all competitions within the club that year and this inspired him to help more golfers improve their games. Toby Wood, coaching journey now takes him to The Golf Academy Borneo in Sabah, Malaysia.
For low-handicap golfers Toby uses a flights-scope launch monitor to analyse their game and look at small incremental changes that can help players become more consistent and longer from the tee.
